Dead Dads
Dead Dads covers everything that comes with losing your dad. We talk about the stuff people usually skip: the paperwork marathons, the garages full of "useful" junk, the password-protected iPads, and the grief that hits you in the middle of a hardware store. Hosted by Roger Nairn and Scott Cunningham, it’s a show for men figuring out life without a dad—one uncomfortable, occasionally hilarious conversation at a time.

Roger Nairn

Host

Roger Nairn is a dad, a husband, and the co-host of Dead Dads. He’s also the co-founder and CEO of JAR Podcast Solutions, where he helps brands tell better stories. After losing his father, Roger started this show to talk honestly about what comes next. The grief, the absurdity, the paperwork, and the parts most men don’t say out loud.

Host

Scott Cunningham is a husband, a father of two, and as of 2021, a member of the "My Dad is Dead" club (the initiation fee was high, but on the plus side, he IS saving on 'Happy Father's Day' cards).

Like his co-host Roger, Scott is currently navigating the bizarre afterlife of the living—trying to make sense of a world where his dad isn’t around to give unsolicited advice on life purchases. He’s here to talk about the grief, the anger, and the kind of pitch-black humour that makes people at dinner parties feel incredibly uncomfortable. If it wouldn’t fit in a eulogy, it’ll probably end up in an episode.
