Sad but funny

Great podcast. Touches on things that we as guys either don’t discuss or are afraid to discuss about the deaths of our dads. My father passed before Christmas 2025 and was buried a couple days after Christmas. And it’s been a blur since then of how I feel vs how I should feel. Even a GriefShare class couldn’t quite help me. But hearing other guys talk about their dads’ lives and deaths gives me perspective. Thank you!

This podcast is a rare, but valuable intersection of an entertaining and useful listen, in an underserved niche. All of the episodes are a great listen and leave you pondering aspects for hours or days after. Thanks

Incredible and real conversation capturing so many of the emotions and quirks brought on when you lose someone near and dear to you. Sure, it’s about the hardships that come with losing your dad but even if you haven’t, it’s a refreshing glimpse into the struggles people face that others may not even realize they are carrying.

I’ve just finished off a listen to the episode with Tiff Daniel’s… and it ran me through the rollercoaster of feels. These gents set up a playing field for a man to walk through what is inevitable but mostly foreign from understanding for many of us. I loved the honesty, the rawness of loss and transparently masculine take on the hard things. It’s nice to know how the weird things in life can be handled with some grace, a dash of humour and a couple of tears.

What a great and much-needed topic to talk about. I lost my dad a few years back and have not talked about it much. It's the type of pain that I bottle up and keep to myself. I felt some pain relief when listening to you guys, and it feels a little better knowing I'm not the only one going through these feelings.Looking forward to hearing more!
